The Metal Hardware Appearance Defect Detection
the machine vision helps our customer to sort out the unqualified hardware accessories.
The customer is a hardware accessories manufacturer, and wants to sort out the unqualified products automatically. the unqualified products often have the defects such as :chipped edges, scratches, large or small edges, withe spots, dirt, screen printing offset and dark colors, etc.
Our solution is : use the high resolution line scan cameras and lens, which can cover 30cm field of view, at the same time, use the high brightness linear light source to light the products. The corresponding physical size of each pixel is: 0.075mm, which can fully meet the accuracy requirements of 0.5mm² defects.
The work flow chart:
The products passes through the conveyor belt at a constant speed and the image is captured and analyzed by the line scan camera.
